Top athletes are usually fitter than most, which is what separates them from the rest of us. They exercise, eat right, rest, have a positive outlook and have a support team. You should be no different.
Make time for exercise or make time to be ill, it’s your choice.
It is virtually impossible to manage your business efficiently if you’re ill, unfit or unhappy.

Be proactive and:
- Have regular checkups with your doctor
- Exercise regularly but get advice from professionals first
- Have a healthy diet – see a nutritionist
- Spend quality time with all members of your family
- Keep in regular contact with your friends
Business Coaching Plus places great importance on getting the balance in your life right – business, private and wellbeing.

Those of us, who have been in business for a while, know how easy it is to get caught up in the day-to-day operation of our business: ordering this, selling that, organising this, sorting that out ... the list is endless.
At the end of each day we wonder: How did I get here when I was planning to be over there, which is much better than here?
Of course, it appears to you that all your competitors are already there, where you wanted to be. To add insult to injury, they got there quicker and at a younger age, they are driving flashier cars, living in better houses with bigger pools, and they have all the latest whizz bang high tech gadgets.
Is there no justice? After all, you are working harder and putting in longer hours!
We accept that the fastest car always takes the chequered flag; the fastest horse is first past the post, and the gold medals go to the fastest Olympians.
However, there's more to winning than speed. Stop. Consider the fact that spectators (customers) see only the end result of a lot of detailed planning, training and testing. Behind the scenes is a team of dedicated professionals with not only a single goal in mind, but also a single plan of how they are going to get there and win.
From time to time these professionals, alias your competitors, stop to reappraise what they are doing, how it is being done, where they are up to, and think about whether there is a better way of doing what they are doing.
Whether they seem more successful than you or not, they are in business just as you are. Obviously, if they recognise the importance of stopping to win the race, so should you.
Invest some time in rediscovering old skills and learning the new ones which will take your business a quantum leap from here to there
Business Coaching Plus will work with you to continually reappraise on what you are doing, how things are getting done, where you are up to and explore if there is a better way of doing things.

The most common answers to the question “why did you go into business?” are:
- Make money
- Life style
- Be the boss
- Have more time for myself
Many of us find out when we go into business that we don’t achieve what we thought we would and end up:
- Make less money than we did working for someone else
- Spending more time at work
- Increased stress levels
- Borrowing money secured by our home
Brain caught in the cogs syndrome:
You may have heard the popular saying “work on your business not in it” but that can be easier said than done especially when you’ve got your brain caught in the cogs of your business having to do everything from providing your goods or services to customers to cleaning the lunchroom. When your brain gets caught in the cogs of your business it drags you into your business making it impossible to work on it.
What’s the answer?
You could try to educate yourself in those aspects of business that you don’t know but what are they and how do you find out?
Business Coaching Plus delivers over 30 years of hands on business experience and works shoulder to shoulder with you in all aspects of your business.
